Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Iraqi Journal of Embryos and Infertility Researches (IJEIR) is published as an Open Access journal. This means that all published articles are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers for readers.

To sustain this open-access model, the journal defrays the costs associated with editorial handling, double-blind peer review, professional typesetting, digital archiving, and platform maintenance through Article Processing Charges (APC).

APC Details

• Submission Fee: There are no fees required to submit a manuscript to IJEIR for initial editorial screening and peer review.
• Article Processing Charges (APCs):
  • Iraqi Authors: Upon official acceptance of the manuscript, a publication fee of 75,000 IQD applies.
  • International Authors: There are no APC charges for international authors; publication is entirely free of charge.

Payment Method

For authors required to pay the APC, the fee is payable only after the acceptance letter is issued. The payment must be submitted directly to the journal office located at the High Institute of Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies, Al-Nahrain University.

Independence of Editorial Decisions

It is a fundamental ethical principle of IJEIR that the ability of an author to pay the APC has absolutely no influence on the editorial decision-making process.

• Reviewers and Handling Editors are entirely blinded to the authors' financial status or waiver applications.
• Manuscripts are evaluated strictly based on their scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Payment details and invoices are processed separately by the administrative team only after an official letter of acceptance has been issued by the Editor-in-Chief.
